Inaugural Veterans Week
"UW-Parkside earns Military Friendly designation from Victory Media"
To honor students who have served our country, UW-Parkside Continuing Education and the Veterans Support Team is proud to announce the inaugural University of Wisconsin-Parkside Veterans Week to celebrate Veterans Day.
As a part of Veterans Week, UW-Parkside Chancellor Debbie Ford and members of the Veterans Support Team host the official grand opening of the Military and Veterans Success Center (Wyllie D192) Friday, Nov. 11, at noon. The campus and community is invited to attend the grand opening.
UW-Parkside Provost Dr. Rob Ducoffe, in a note to the campus community, announced that UW-Parkside has again been recognized with the Military Friendly designation by Victory Media through to the end of 2017. "To help achieve this important designation, our campus will continue to offer and promote training for faculty and staff on veterans-related issues," Ducoffe said.
