Arts & Humanities Career Day
For all UW-Parkside students in the College of Arts & Humanities: come and meet employers and alumni who work in a variety of careers in the arts and humanities.
Ever wonder what can you do with a degree in art, music, English, graphic design, theater, liberal studies, film, digital design/fabrication, Spanish, or communication? This event is for you!
2:30-3:45 Choose from one of two employer/alumni panels:
+ Performance Career Trek: Employers and alumni in theater and performing arts speaking about their careers and offering advice to students on career options and how best to prepare. For students interested in music or theater performing arts careers.
+ Non-performance Career Trek: Employers and alumni in non-performance arts & humanities speaking about their careers and organizations and offering advice to students on career options and how best to prepare. For students interested in learning about careers in art, graphic design, writing/editing/copywriting/publishing, content creation, Spanish, digital design and communication.
4:00-5:00 Attend a FREE reception with food and refreshments in the Mathis Gallery to meet and mingle with employers & alumni on the panel as well as COAH faculty.
Elevate Series: Professionalism (Spring Session #1)

Join us for the first Elevate session of the spring as we welcome Tamarra Coleman, Executive Director of the Shalom Center, to speak about her professional journey, how you can show up authentically in professional spaces, and how to align your values to your future career. What you learn in this session can be applied to your current student employment experience as well as throughout your future career.

UW System Career Trek: CNH Industrial
A brief virtual introduction to CNH Industrial located in Racine, WI as part of the UW System Career Trek program. Students at any UW school in the state can participate to meet recruiters from CNH Industrial and learn about internship and career opportunities. This event takes place on Zoom and students can also ask questions at the end.
