Summer and Winterim Aid

Financial aid for summer and winterim works a little differently than during the regular academic year. Your eligibility will depend on a number of factors, so please contact a financial aid counselor to answer any questions you may have.

Things To Do

  1. If you have not filed a FAFSA application for the academic year,  you must submit an application prior to June 15th.

  2. Enroll in classes for summer or winterim.

  3. Complete the additional UW-Parkside summer or winterim aid application available through the Financial Aid Office.

Please note that any change in enrollment after completing the UW-Parkside aid application may change your eligibility for aid and result in an adjustment of your aid. Additionally, summer awards are limited to summer cost of attendance.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be a UW-Parkside degree-seeking student.

  • You must be enrolled in at least 6 credits as an undergraduate or 4 credits as a graduate student (summer requirement only).

  • Awards are based upon remaining aid eligibility for the current academic year.

  • Federal Work Study is available, but can only be used during your actual enrollment.
