Join in as we welcome Yessenia Funes to speak. Funes is a New York-based journalist who focuses her work on environmental justice, covering the intersection where race and the environment meet. She's a senior staff writer at Earther, Gizmodo's environmental vertical. As a Latina and child to immigrants, Yessenia strives to center people of color in her reporting.
