ParksideSTUDIO: True West

Two estranged brothers are reunited in their mother's suburban home. Overachiever Austin is housesitting and writing a screenplay when reprobate Lee arrives to rob the neighborhood and antagonize his brother. Over the course of the play, roles become blurred and the brothers' relationship becomes increasingly volatile as they confront their own failures and resentments. True West is a darkly comedic exploration of the American Dream, sibling rivalry, and the nature of identity. 

ParksideSTUDIOs are Parkside student directed and realized plays, with mentorship by Parkside Theatre faculty.
