The Sierra Club and Racine Green Congregation in partnership with SC Johnson present A Community Interest Program with the screening of "Cashing Ice". The screening will be followed with a presentation on the impact of climate change on Wisconsin by UW-Parkside assistant professor of political science and law, Ross Astoria.

"Chasing Ice", winner of the Excellence in Cinematography award at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, is the story of one man's mission to change the tide of history by gathering undeniable evidence of our changing planet.

Follow National Geographic photographer James Balog across the Arctic as he deploys time-lapse cameras designed for one purpose: to capture a multi-year record of the world's changing glaciers. His hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at an astounding rate.

Film length: 75 minutes
