Accepting Applications for Nonprofit Leadership Award

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside's Continuing Education and Community Engagement is now accepting applications for the 2015 Nonprofit Leadership Excellence Award. This $2,000 award is open to all nonprofit organizations in Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties. Staff, board members, and volunteers may nominate their own organizations.

The Nonprofit Leadership Award recognizes outstanding achievements in leadership and sustainability. The award will be given to an organization which demonstrates a significant achievement in one of the following four categories: Innovation in Program or Organizational Development, Board Excellence, Outcome Measurement, or Collaboration.

A team of independent reviewers from Racine and Kenosha will select at least three finalists from the applications. The winner will receive the award at the 12th Annual Nonprofit Breakfast, sponsored by UW-Parkside Continuing Education and Community Engagement, and Gateway Technical College, held on Friday, April 17, at the Kenosha Country Club.

The Nonprofit Leadership Excellence Award is sponsored by the Kenosha Community Foundation and the Racine Community Foundation.
