Chemistry Major and Club President Presents Research in Madison, WI

Chemistry major and club president Nate Mylar presented his research to legislatures at the 2014 Posters in the Rotunda event in Madison, WI on March 12. His project, titled Substituent Effects on Green Oxidation, was done in the laboratory of Professor Vera Kolb and investigated a recyclable copper based oxidizing agent as a replacement for the traditional, non-recycled, toxic chromium based reagents.
