ARTEL Program
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION LICENSURE
The Alternative Route to Technology Education Licensure program has suspended admission in order to make significant revisions to the program. UW-Parkside is redesigning the technology education program to be more responsive to the needs of our districts and region for teachers in this area. The timeline for re-opening the ARTEL program is tentatively Fall 2019. If you would like to be notified when the program is accepting inquiries and applicants, please email Dr. Dana Ryan at ryand@uwp.edu and she will email you as soon as new information is available.

Application Requirements
Applicants to the ARTEL Program must meet the following minimum requirements:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education
Be eligible for at least one PK-12 teaching license in the state of Wisconsin
Pass a satisfactory criminal background check and complete successful background check addendum
