MILITARY AND SECURITY STUDIES 

Associate's degree

 

Historical, ethical, and foundational skills in military and security studies are the focus of this degree that is open to all students, even if you do not have military experience. Advance your skills in critical thinking and decision making, and become ready to enter the workforce.

The Military and Security Studies associate of arts degree is an excellent preparation for majors in history, political science, and criminal justice. This degree serves as a defined pathway through general education requirements and is a credentialed confirmation of the halfway point to earning a bachelor's degree.

If you are active military, you may be able to apply credits earned towards promotion. If you can demonstrate learning as a result of your military experience you may receive credit toward this degree.

You will have the flexibility to choose areas you wish to concentrate advance professional skill development in including geographical inquiry, leadership development, military history, and homeland security.
