UW-Parkside is focused on the successful delivery of its academic mission. Teams of faculty and staff are developing scenarios for “Ranger Restart,” a phased return to on-campus operations.
At this time:
- All summer classes are being conducted online.
- University and community activities on campus are canceled until further notice.
- UW-Parkside will be open this fall – decisions regarding how classes will be conducted during the fall 2020 semester (in-person, online, or a combination of the two formats) will be shared as they become available.
- In accordance with UW System Board of Regents' resolution, face coverings shall be required in all indoor public spaces, including classrooms, and strongly encouraged outside when physical distancing is not possible.
On July 30, 2020, Governor Evers issued and executive order that Wisconsin residents ages five and older are required to wear a face covering when they are indoors or in an enclosed space with anyone outside their household or living unit. Face coverings are strongly recommended if you are outdoors and maintaining physical distancing is not possible. A frequently asked questions (FAQ) document is available here.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all do our part to protect the health and safety of our campus and our community.
Parkside is at its best when students succeed. That's why our top priority is remaining available to help with online tools and modified services.
