CONFERENCE LOCATIONS

Conference registration pick-up and opening activities on Wednesday, July 24 occur at the Union on the main UW-Milwaukee campus.

The remainder of the IADA 2019 conference is occurring July 25-27, 2019 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education.

The UWM School of Continuing Education is located in the same building as The Shops of Grand Avenue, accessible by walking through The Shops of Grand Avenue or through the UWM entrance across the street from Mo’s Irish Pub.

The business dinner on July 26 occurs at the Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery located within walking distance to the conference.

LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS

Lodging accommodations are available at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.

Conference rate: $120 USD per night
Subject to taxes and fees; tax can be waived with a Wisconsin state tax exempt form.

A credit card is required to book a reservation. The card will be charged one night’s room and tax rate for no-shows. Reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to reservation date. A one night’s room fee will be charged for cancellations made on or after reservation date.

Check-in time is 3 pm CST and check-out time is 12 pm CST.

There are several ways to reach the conference from regional airports.

FROM LODGING TO THE CONFERENCE

The IADA 2019 conference is held at the UWM School of Continuing Education, which is approximately a seven minute walk (0.3 miles), approximately 3 city blocks from Hilton Milwaukee City Center. If planning to walk from the hotel, the best route is to travel east on West Wisconsin Ave.
