The pre-physical therapy program at Parkside is designed to help students gain the necessary academic and professional requirements that will help them be competitive candidates for professional physical therapy schools.

The most common majors that students choose to complete their pre-physical therapy education are:

When you are enrolled in the pre-physical therapy program you will receive: 

  • Assistance in obtaining shadowing/internship experiences with local physical therapists
  • Help to ensure you are choosing the correct career pathway
  • Experience* that is a requirement to gain acceptance into physical therapy school
*In fact, most DPT programs require a minimum of 80 hours of physical therapy Experience.
