Now more than ever, your college education is one of the most important investments you can make in your future. That's why each year the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid awards over $1,000,000 in UW-Parkside Scholarships and helps Parkside students earn over $400,000 in private scholarships. Many scholarship opportunities exist in our community, to help you find private scholarships and to make applying more efficient, please use our  Toolkit.

Newly Admitted and Incoming Students

Your admissions application automatically allows you to be considered for many scholarships.

To be considered for most university scholarships, you should be admitted by March 1. The sooner you're admitted, the more scholarship opportunities you may qualify for.

The scholarship application is now open and will close 5/1/2026.

Make sure you are checking your email regularly to learn about scholarships that you may be eligible for.

Out of State Students

Nonresident Scholarship Program  |  Students from states* outside of the Midwest are charged the nonresident tuition rate. The amounts listed represent full-time enrollment. Students attending less than full-time are still eligible for the scholarship program, but will receive a prorated amount. Students in programs or courses with special tuition rates do not qualify.

*Students from surrounding Midwest states qualify for a reduced tuition rate via the Midwest Tuition Rate.

International Students

There are a limited number of renewable awards for full time, degree-seeking international students that cover a portion of the out-of-state tuition charge. International Out of State Scholarships are prorated, based on the number of nonresident credits the student is enrolled in. Amounts listed on the original award represent full-time non-resident enrollment. These scholarships do not pertain to discounted courses (ex. online courses or courses taken as consortium courses.)

Funding is limited, so we strongly recommend that international students apply early for admission.

Continuing Students

One UW-Parkside General Scholarship Application allows you to be considered for many scholarships.

The 2026-2027 UW-Parkside Scholarship Application is now Open and will close December 31.

If you have been awarded a scholarship, you will receive an email notifying you of the scholarship and award amount. Next steps will be provided.

Additional Scholarship Opportunities

There are many organizations that offer student scholarships. We've compiled a list of organizations that have awarded Parkside students scholarships in the past. We encourage you to take a look because you could be one of them!
