The Center for Excellence in Inclusive Teaching & Learning (CEITL) supports the pursuit of inclusive teaching excellence by

  • promoting reflection and conversation about teaching and learning;
  • offering evidence-based resources and professional development opportunities;
  • creating opportunities for community and collaborative engagement on shared interests and challenges;
  • fostering a culture of inclusive practice so that all students, faculty, and staff feel that they belong and thrive at Parkside.

CEITL believes in the value of community and collaboration. We do not seek to impose a single pedagogical approach on the university’s instructors, but rather celebrate and learn from the rich diversity of instructional styles practiced on our campus.

Interested in a book club on Gen AI but struggling to find the time to prep ahead of time? Consider joining our No-Prep Book Club for the Fall 2025 semester! The book, titled "ChatGPT Assignments to Use in Your Classroom Today" is a free OER digital text available through the University of Central Florida. While the title mentions ChatGPT and assignment creation specifically, we can assure you the book covers much more in regards to Generative AI.

Each book club session will be broken into four parts: Touch Base (5 minutes), Tinker Time (20 minutes), Talk (30 minutes), Transition (5 minutes). You'll use the 20-minute Tinker Time window to explore the sections of that week's readings that interest you most before we come back as a full group to discuss.
