educator professional development Courses

Online + Face-To-Face

UW-Parkside offers both online and face-to-face courses for advanced professional development. In order to enroll in courses for credit, you must first fill out our online application. Once your application has been received and processed by university admissions, you will be able to enroll for your desired course online. Email teachereducation@uwp.edu or call 262-595-2180 with questions.

ONLINE COURSES

Vesi logo

For your convenience, we offer online courses through VESi. Online courses can start at anytime throughout the semester but must finish on the last day of the semester.

VESi courses are now tablet compatible, making it easy for you to recertify anytime, anywhere with reliable, stable online access!

There are three steps to register for professional development courses:

1. Download the application instructions and fill out the university application at http://apply.wisconsin.edu. There is no application fee. (Be sure to apply for the level of credit you would like to receive, as indicated in Step 6 of the instructions!)

2. Once you have received a welcome email from the Office of Admissions, follow the link in the email to activate your online account and set a password.

3. Email teachereducation@uwp.edu with the title of the course you wish to take and level of credit (undergraduate or graduate). You will receive instructions for course enrollment, along with a course permission number. Log in to the university SOLAR system with your Parkside user ID and the password that you created in Step 2, and follow the instructions to enroll in your professional development course!

Need to pay your bill?

You can pay your tuition bill online, in person, or via mail. Tuition must be paid by the end of the semester in which you are enrolled. Outstanding tuition bills will prevent you from receiving official transcripts or enrolling in future courses.

Online: Log in to your student SOLAR account (using the ID and password that you used to enroll in your course online). Choose the "Make a Payment" link under "Campus Finances." Credit cards and eChecks are accepted for online payments.

In Person: The Cashier's Office is located in The Commons Wyllie Hall, D1

Via Mail: Checks and money orders should be payable to University of Wisconsin-Parkside and must include your student identification number on your check. Personal checks must include a preprinted name and address. Address your payment to:

ATTN: CASHIER'S OFFICE, WYLL D1
UNIV OF WI-PARKSIDE
900 WOOD RD
PO BOX 2000
KENOSHA WI 53141-2000

For more information, please visit the Cashier's Office website.
