Student Conduct Procedures

Residence Hall Handbook

The Residence Hall Handbook is designed to create a welcome, safe, and comfortable living environment. A goal for the residence halls is to have an environment where all residents are an integral part of the community and, as such, assume an active role in developing and maintaining an atmosphere that promotes success for all members. The primary responsibility for behavior rests with the individual. Consideration and tolerance of others is required.

Students are encouraged to download and review the Residence Hall Handbook before coming to campus.

In addition to the Residence Hall Handbook, the University of Wisconsin System (UWS) has certain expectations regarding its students. Details of rights and responsibilities as well as Student Conduct sanctions are found in the UWS Administrative Code. Further information on the Student Conduct Process can be found on the Dean of Students website.

Living on campus is a privilege; therefore, residents are expected to comply with Residence Hall policies, University policies, and Wisconsin State law.
