No matter what your interests are, Parkside will help you reach beyond the classroom. With programs like our undergraduate research symposium, we're continually bringing new and exciting opportunities to campus. Serve your community, and get academic credit, with community-based learning or an internship. Want to explore even further? Study abroad and see the world.

Community-Based Learning

Parkside is dedicated to offering you opportunities to learn and cultivate your skills in practical ways.  Our professors work closely with community partners to develop projects that offer you ways to enhance what you learn in the classroom.

Nothing prepares you for the professional world more than working right in the middle of it. Internships are a great way to gain hands-on experience and build a network of connections  that will help you to land your dream job.

Are you interested in conducting research? Want the chance to work side-by-side with experienced faculty? We want you to have the most opportunities possible during your time at Parkside, and that includes getting hands on experience, applying what you're learning far beyond the classroom.
