In addition to having a beautiful campus, Parkside is conveniently located right in the Milwaukee-Chicago corridor, close to sparkling Lake Michigan. That means there are so many things to do!

Milwaukee is the City of Festivals, offering a vast array of cultural offerings, sporting events, restaurants, and much more. And Chicago is a vibrant city, filled with museums, sports teams, shopping, deep-dish pizza, music, nightlife, and comedy. You can’t go wrong in either exciting city!

We also have a wide array of food and entertainment options even closer. The professional Fireside Theatre offers much-loved musicals for a really fun night out. You can walk, bike, or drive through Kenosha’s four historic districts, visiting interesting shops and restaurants along the way. The Jelly Belly Visitor’s Center is also in town, plus there are a variety of museums, parks, galleries, and markets. And there are authentic Electric Streetcars that you can ride through the city, along with other public transportation options.

When you’re ready to head off campus, the communities close to UW-Parkside offer something for everyone.
