Leadership Kenosha is a professional development program that focuses on personal and interpersonal skills, team building, conflict management, and communication and presentation skills.
Leadership Kenosha is a nine-month professional development program provided in partnership with the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce that is coordinated and facilitated by UW-Parkside’s Center for Community and Business Engagement. Each year, a diverse group of emerging leaders from the business, nonprofit, education and government sectors participates in monthly cohort sessions exploring various dimensions of Kenosha County to prepare for future community leadership opportunities. The program also focuses on developing personal and interpersonal skills, team building, conflict management, and communication and presentation skills. Participants apply these skills while completing a group project for a community nonprofit organization.
