Salary: Pay Schedule/Pay Range: 03-09. Pay will be based on the rules that apply to compensation upon transfer, reinstatement or voluntary demotion transactions; pay will not be less than the minimum of the pay range, $12.190/hr. A six-month permissive probation period may be required.

The University of Wisconsin Parkside currently has a Custodian Lead, 3rd shift vacancy in the Facilities Management Department.
Job Duties: As lead worker, responsibilities may include planning, scheduling and assigning tasks to a cleaning crew; performing floor mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming; strip, wax and polish floors, fixtures and furniture; move and arrange furniture and equipment for special events; check buildings for safety and security compliance to safeguard contents and prevent vandalism.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Methods, materials and equipment used for broad based custodial duties; work planning, assignment and inspection techniques; appropriate use of cleaning agents and supplies; record keeping techniques.
