Financial Specialist 2
The Cashiers Office at UW-Parkside currently has a full-time Financial Specialist 2 vacancy.

Job Duties:This position will perform the tasks necessary to collect all UW-Parkside student fees, including financial aid; account for all departmental funds deposited at the Cashier's Office; oversee and reconcile credit card transactions generated from all departments; hire, train, schedule, and supervise 1 LTE and 1 student worker; oversee QuickBooks software for student organizations and contingent fund (checks and deposits); and assist with the Perkins Loan program. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:: Knowledge of MS Word and Excel; knowledge of SharePoint; ability to perform bank reconciliations; ability to handle multiple tasks; ability to work independently and with a team; knowledge of PeopleSoft; knowledge of document imaging and Image Now software; experience with QuickBooks.
Salary:Pay will be based on the rules that apply to compensation upon transfer, reinstatement or voluntary demotion transactions. Pay will not be less than the minimum of the 02-11 pay range, $15.411/hour. A six month permissive probation period may be required.
