Moving Out

The Residence Life Contract is for the entire academic year. Any resident who want to leave the residence halls prior to the end of the spring semester must complete a contract appeal form available at the Office of Residence Life. All residents are required to check out with a Residence Life staff member.

At the end of fall and spring semesters, if a resident is graduating, transferring, leaving on internship, or withdrawing from the university, the resident should vacate his or her room or apartment within 24 hours after his or her last exam. If the resident cannot vacate the residence hall, he or she must obtain prior permission from the Office of Residence Life to remain later.
