University Services Program Associate

The University of Wisconsin Parkside currently has a University Services Program Associate vacancy in the Campus Activities and Engagement department. This is a classified, full-time, non-represented position. Job Announcement Code 15-001698.

Job Duties: Reporting to the Director of the Parkside Student Center, this position will serve as the main contact for student organizations, all campus events and program information, and financial processes. Responsibilities include selecting and supervising student office staff; providing training; coordinating student payroll; assisting organizations with proper paperwork and financial documentation; maintaining student organization private account records, performing reconciliations and assisting with budget preparation; creating correspondence; coordinating marketing for a variety of programs and all campus events; arranging Student Organization Advisor Lunches and trainings; maintaining files and records; and providing interpretation on rules, regulations and policies. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required knowledge and abilities include; knowledge of UW and campus policies and procedures for financial processes and student organizations; knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word; ability to enter financial records and perform reconciliations; knowledge of effective training and supervision practices; ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and be detail oriented; excellent organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; and ability to interpret rules and regulations.

Salary: Pay will be based on the rules that apply to compensation upon transfer, reinstatement or voluntary demotion transactions. Pay will not be less than the minimum of the 02-11 pay range, $15.411/hour. A six month permissive probation period may be required.
